Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was established in 2015 with the educational institutions taken from Balıkesir University, which has a 30 years long standing past. Our University continues to give service to our country in science by establishing new faculties and institues in addition to its present academic units. Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University started to step forward and currently continues to give high quality education with 4 institutes, 12 faculties, 1 college, 9 vocational schools, and 19 application and research centers in 11 campuses, which all continue to conduct research activities. As of 2023-2024 academic year, there are around 23.000 students (2.400 international students) in Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Degrees. This number will exceed 1.125 staff and 23.000 students by the end of the year. Until now, approximately 125 staff and 5.000-5.500 students have joined our university every year and its employees continue.
